To finish or not to finish?

I had started to write( what I used to call a book) in my early twenties, and like most of my "projects", was pushed aside to make time for more important things. It was a sort of Erma Bombeck style writing on the trials and tribulations of becoming a first time mother. I'm not sure where the notebook got to that I started it with, but I think I could probably recall a good part of it.I've been kicking around the idea of starting it up again, and now that my son is in his twenties , I certainly feel like I have enough material from over the years to add to it.
